beautiful early wood sign from Harry Rosenberry, a veterinary surgeon, in Auburn, California. 18 x 44", 2" thick frame, all original, typical of the 1890's-1900 signs. Rosenberry may have been a descendant of another veterinary surgeon family from Middleton, PA, going back to the 1700's. He was born in Pennsylvania. The first census appearance of Rosenberry in Auburn (as a vet) is in the 1910 census, though he could have begun his business there earlier. City: Auburn State: California Date: hwac# 29969
