Choice! Number 2532, issued for 100 shares to John J. Welsh in San Francisco on April 17th, 1906 (the day before the earthquake!). Signed by the 2nd vice president John Lutz(?) and asst. secretary WE Miles. Not cancelled. Green border, black print, and underprint green vignette of a bullfrog. Printed by Union Litho Co., SF. Across the bottom it reads San Francisco Office at 323 Mills Building. 5.5 x 9.5" Folds, pinholes, creases. This mine was discovered by Shorty Harris and Cross in 1904. The mine was located on Bullfrog Mountain. They sold out soon after making the discovery. Cross old his share for $25,000. Harris got drunk and sold his for $500 and a mule.
