Audubon, "From the original painting by Chappel, in possession of the publishers, Johnson Fry & Co. Publishers, New York." "Entered according to Act of Congress, A.D. 1867 by Johnson, Fry & Co., in the clerk's office of the district court for the southern district of NY"; 12 1/2 x 9 1/2 in. "Mount Hood, from the Columbia," "New York, D. Appleton & Co.," "Entered according to Act of Congress, A.D. 1874, by D. Appleton & Co., in the Office of the Librarian of Congress, Washington"; 13 3/4 x 9 1/8 in. detailed print of Simon the Zealot, Apostle, holding a scroll which reads, "Remissionem Peccatorum," (Latin for "The Remission of Sins"), surrounded by angels, cherubs and biblical scenes; and 18 x 26 in. "Come unto these yellow sands!" The British Museum number 1872,1012.1871, Scene from Ariel's dream in Shakespeare's "the Tempest" (Act I, scene ii), with nymphs in sea surrounding sleeping figure at right, an arc of fairies flying before a rock arch at left, stars in the night sky behind; arched design with frame surrounding, dramatic figures in outline within, illustration in "The Art Journal," 1847.
