This Dingee cartridge box is an original from Richmond, Virginia 1865. It is filled with paper cartridges (for an unknown musket), in excellent condition. It served at the 125th Anniversary of the Battle of Saylor's Creek and the Stacking of Arms at Appomattox Court House April 6-8, 1990 by a reenactor. The box carries the standard issue US oval in brass badge on the top flap but also carries an original eagle badge from the "the Crater". All together in excellent condition. Because of the ammunition included, special has-mat shipping charges apply. Ground shipping only. No sales to New York, New Jersey, California, and Hawaii.
