This large frame book is titled" "The Original Lists of Persons of Quality 1600-1700" edited by John Camden Hotten printed in London in 1874. The list is of people leaving England between 1600-1700 for " emigrants, religious exiles, political rebels, serving men sold for a term of years, apprentices, children stolen, maidens pressed, and others who went from Great Britain to the American Plantations 1600-1700. There are 580 pp. including 70 pp. of index for a quick list. The emigrants, are first listed by ship they boarded, passed from the port of London, living in Virginia, leaving via ports Ipswich, and Weymouth UK. There is a list of "convicted rebels" of 1685 sent to Barbados and other plantations in the Americas. A tickets granted list; and a parish register for St. Michaels in Barbados. All of it written in the King's best English. 13 in. X 11 in. broken binding, some loose pages, rounded corners, library issued book, dark purple fabric.
