Patent number 220028. The design was significantly different than other stamp mills. For starters, it use two different kinds of stamps, one with a curved face and one with a flat face to ensure complete stamping of the rock. It utilizes a series of conveyors to separate fine from course material along with other improvements. Mr. King, of Alden New York, possibly never got many of these built for actual production use as a design is significantly different. This is a choice original inventors model worthy of any major mining collection. at the present time (4/27/17) the original tag label shown in the photo is missing from public display for the past 2 weeks. while we have diligently looked for this item, it is not currently found, and is thus not present in this lot. 14" x 11" x 7".
