Number 3017 for 100 shares issued to CB Keen in 1881. Signed by secretary B Hart and president Hamilton Disston. Vignette on left is of a winch and wundergound miners. Very nice condition. Two pinholes and slight bend at upper right corner. Main office in Philadelphia. Mine is in the Santa Rita and Patagonia mountains of Pima County. The Orion started with sharing offices with the Tombstone Gold & Silver Mill and Mining Company. The Tombstone people quickly moved to separate from the Orion which they did not think much of the Orion property - as a matter of fact they thought it was a "no good mining property." [Tombstone, A. T.: A History of Early Mining, Milling, and Mayhem" by Shillingberg] State: Arizona City: Pima County Date: 1881
