Orr Water & Ditch Company, Reno, Nevada Rare Archive includes five pay orders and receipts for labor performed during July 1883 on the company’s ditch, banks, and dam. Each signed as “Correct, Robert A. Frazer, President.” Mentions English Mil, which ran Washoe Ore in late 1860's. Robert Frazer (1834-1886) was an early 1860s Washoe County Pioneer, a Rancher at Washoe City and Reno, Washoe County Treasurer 1868-74, and later Washoe County's Assessor. Thompson & West’s 1880 "History of Nevada" says the nine-mile Orr Ditch was completed through the Truckee Meadows at a cost of $8,000. All half-sheets. Autographed letters, signed.
