This the exact specimen pictured, Variant 2 B, page 232, in the book, " Ghost Towns & Medicines", By Fred Holabird. Clear, tooled top, longer neck, 5" x 1 5/8" in size. Fairly clean, for a dug bottle. Light haze, and a 3/8" chip under the lip, on the right side. No other damage. lot#2 of 2: Osburn & Shoemaker / Druggists / Reno, Nev. //Base: Patd may 15th 88/ D.F. & D // Light, sun colored amethyst, tooled top, and 4 1/ 8" x 1 3/4" in size. Great condition, except for some light haze, and a couple of minute scratches. . . Variant, 3 B. This specimen is the distinctive" Chicago Oval" , the same as the Cedric and the Shoemaker & Ruth bottles !!...
