Cool document involving P.T. Barnum, the famous circus showman. The Barnum neighborhood was annexed to the city of Denver in 1896. Named after Barnum, he purchased 760 acres in 1882 as an off-season respite for his show. He originally named many of the streets after famous people. The area stretches from West 6th Avenue to Alameda Avenue and from Federal Boulevard to Sheridan Boulevard (denvergov.org). The Abstract of Title covers lots #11-20, Block 128 and covers from Aug. 15, 1883 to 1890 when it is executed. Very interesting and rare P.T. Barnum related document.
