From 1887 to 1932 Paducah had streetcars. In 1915 The Paducah Traction and Light company had 19.1 miles of track (including sidings etc.). They had 23 closed cars, 9 open cars, 16 semi convertible cars and 3 miscellaneous cars. The streetcar system started life as the Paducah Street Railway Company and morphed into several different companies throughout the years.
