1) Transferring land to William Henry of Elko in 1870. The 1880 census has William Henry living on his CPRR land in Star Valley. 2) Transferring land to Henry Goodale of Elko in 1870. The Goodale's also had a ranch in Star Valley. The CPRR was completed in 1869 and these were very early deeds to these two farmers would have been among the very first to acquire railroad land in Elko County.
