This is a pair of oversized hand forged vintage Mexican Iron Spurs and were most likely built in the Amozoc region of Mexico, the heel bands are 2 inches tall and the spread at their base measures 3 inches wide, the straight shank measures 4 inches long and ties into 6 point rowels that are 3 inches long, overall length from the base of the spurs to the tip of the rowels is 10 inches, both spurs have basic leather straps attached over the iron buttons, these appear to be from the late 1800's to about the 1920's. One spur has a small separation where the shank joins up to the rowel but is very secure.
