Wood handle and stitched skin rattle by Burton Pete (1941-2018), who was born to Mamie Kaye Nez and George Pete on January 11, 1941 in Schurz, Nevada. Burton's maternal grandparents were Edna Abraham and Sam Kaye from Pyramid Lake, Nevada. Burton's paternal grandparents are from Ft. Bidwell, California. This 12" rattle is in good condition and comes from the Wigwam Collection.
