Palace Theatre Corporate Certificate of Deposit. 1932. #546, I/C, First Mortgage, 6 1/2 % Gold Bond due Oct. 1933. Issued Sept. 26, 1930. Brown border, no vignette, Goes printer. In excellent cond does have cancel holes across signatures. The theatre built in 1919 in New Jersey hosted, silent movies, vaudeville, modern movies, plays, graduations. Usually filled with known actors, directors and writers. Served as movies theatre until the 1960's. TV and multiplex theatre's were a competition it couldn't keep up with and closed. In 1995 it was purchased by The Growing Stage and renovated w/220 seat auditorium and became the only stage for young performers that owned it's own bldg.
