A) Palo Alto and Stanford University Directory for 1897--1898 compiled and published by F.D. Hunt. Pages 3-13 contain general university information about athletics, academic calendar, dormitories, library, museum, student organizations, etc. Pages 14-15 contain information about Palo Alto's churches, mails, officers, saloons, schools, telegraphs/telephones, etc. Main directory is an alphabetical list of residents, their occupation, and their address. Also includes a list of university faculty, fraternities, and sororities. A folded map of Palo Alto is at the end of the book. 6.75 x 5, good condition.
B) Palo Alto and Stanford University Directory for 1896-1897 published by D.C. Kinkead. First part is an alphabetical list of Palo Alto residents, their occupations, and their addresses. Second part is an alphabetical list of Stanford students and faculty. At the end of the book, there is a list of football, baseball, track and field, tennis, and basketball matches between the University of California and Stanford, with scores. Folded Map of Palo Alto attached to back cover. 8.5 x 5.5, good condition.
C) Directory of Palo Alto, Mayfield, Rennymede, and Stanford for 1919-1920 published by Willis L. Hall. Folded map of Palo Alto inside the front cover. Contains a classified business directory and an alphabetical list of residents, their occupations, and their addresses. List of Stanford students in the back. Also has maps of Menlo Park and the Palo Alto Union High School District. 9 x 6, good condition.
Business advertisements are included throughout each volume.
