This rare stock certificate, no. 8853 was issued to Jack Schnell for one share in 1900 to raise money for the Pan-American World's Fair. Border is a repeating image of the Western Hemisphere with allegorical figures forming the shape of the continents of America clasping hands at the Isthmus of Panama with a large logo at the center top. Gold seal of the company and adhesive revenue stamp and hole cancelled. Signed by John G. Milburn, president and Geo. L Williams, treasurer. Framed, 11.5" x 14.75".
