Ultra rare 73 mm bronze medal from the 1915 Panama Pacific International Exposition in San Francisco. One side features the Tower of Jewels, the other the Horticulture Palace. Designed by architect Thomas Hastings, the arch-and-tower was 435 feet tall and covered with more than 100,000 cut glass "jewels" that sparkled in the sunlight and were illuminated at night by spotlights.
