Lot of 13 stereoviews of the Panama Canal and surrounding areas. While most are Keystone Co. cards, there is one early card by E. Herbruger, a photographer in Panama, showing a cemetery. One rare Underwood & Underwood: 12323--The Passing of the first battleship through the Canal. Plus eleven Keystone, 1 duplicate: Installing turbines at Gatun Lake Spillway; S.S. Panama on first excursion through canal; Pacific Entrance; City and Bay of Panama; Gatun Locks and Sea Level Entrance, Atlantic Ocean; Busy Scene on the Panama Canal (x2); a Chilean Line Steamer at Valparaiso; Indian 'dug-outs" on the Chagres River, bringing bananas to Gatun; ships passing through at the Pedro Miguel Locks; and The Annam, a Norwegian oil burning vessel passing through.
