Legal Doc / Agreement between Pancho Villa Widow, Luz De Villa and MGM Studios. One-of-a-kind legal document from the MGM files, regarding written approval for certain deleted scenes from the 1934 movie, Viva Villa. The movie starred Wallace Beery as the famous revolutionary. There are certain scenes that Mrs. Villa and the Mexican government found objectionable. The movie was fraught with problems throughout the production, including going through three directors, the arrest of an actor for urinating on a Mexican military parade and seven screenwriters. This four and a half page document more than likely, was acquired from the 1970 MGM auction. It is in near fine condition, with two holes at the top that appears to have been made to accommodate a clipboard. Please see photos for more details. [Culver City] [California] [] [] []
