Souvenir watch fob belonging to the Columbus, New Mexico postmaster L.L. Burkhead, who had it made to commemorate the raid on the town by Pancho Villa on March 9, 1911. The fob, which measures 1"x 1" is in the shape of the state of New Mexico and is stamped with the date of the raid. On the reverse are the gruesome statistics of fatalities as a result of the raid, which included nine citizens and seven soldiers.
