This kachina is 13 in. tall with two mudheads; one on the shoulders of the standing mudhead. Signed Burbank on the base. Officially known as Paralyzed Kachina, where the much larger kachina carries the smaller and paralyzed mudhead. The condition is fair to good with the head of the smaller mudhead loose and the larger mudhead has a broken foot. A considerable amount of craftsmanship to build. Cottonwood, leather, feathers, fabric. (ref. Hopi Kachina Dolls and their Carvers by Theda Bassman, p.107).
