Partial Violins, Violin Parts, and Cases.
A): Full 4/4 size hard shell violin case. Exterior made from faux leather with interior grey cloth lining. Meant to hold a single violin, two bows, and small equipment. Metal clasps, carrying hooks, and lock attached to the outside of case with carrying handle. Comes with 4/4 size cello ebony fingerboard.
B): Partially constructed violin. No strings, bridge, tailpiece, chinrest, nut, or tuning pegs present. Ebony fingerboard is attached. No visible damage. Two piece back with no flame. 4/4 size violin. With hard shell violin case. Black felt exterior with beige cloth interior; room for one violin, two bows, and small equipment in smaller compartments.
C): Pfretzschner violin partially constructed. Copy of Antonius Stradivarius violin made in Germany. No strings, bridge, tailpiece, chinrest, nut, tuning pegs, or fingerboard present. Two piece back with little flame quality. Full size 4/4 violin. With hard shell leather case. Fading black leather exterior with faded red cloth interior. Room for a single violin and small equipment in smaller compartments. Broken metal clasps attached to the outside with deteriorating leather and rope handle.
D): Partially constructed copy of Antonius Stradivarius violin made in Germany. No strings, bridge, tailpiece, or chinrest present. Two piece back with little flame quality. 3/4 size violin. Fingerboard and neck are no longer attached. With hard leather case. Black leather exterior with purple felt interior. Metal clasps and leather carrying handle attached to the outside. Bad condition.
E): Scherl & Roth genuine reproduction of an Antonius Stradivarius that is partially constructed. No strings, bridge, or tailpiece present. Ebony chinrest, fingerboard, nut, and tuning pegs. No noticeable damage, two piece back with good flame quality. 3/4 size violin. With hard shell brown case. Metal clasps and carrying hooks attached to the outside along with carrying handle. Interior green velvet cloth. Room for one violin, two bows, and smaller equipment in small compartments.
F): Partially constructed violin. No strings, tailpiece, chinrest, bridge, fingerboard, nut, or tuning pegs present. Pearl eye dots and carvings in the full piece back. With hard shell leather exterior carrying case. Green velvet interior with room for a single violin, two bows, and smaller equipment in small compartments. Outside attached are the carrying handle, metal clasps, and a lock. Bad condition.
G): Erich Rieger violin partially constructed. No strings, bridge, or tailpiece present. Two piece back with good flame quality and full front carved piece. Assembled in Korea. With hard shell case, black exterior with gold velvet interior. Metal clasps and carrying hooks with carrying handle.
H): Partially constructed violin of Slavic origins constructed in 1850. No tailpiece, fingerboard, nut, chinrest, bridge, or tuning pegs present. Rounded corners and edges. Two piece back with good flame quality. With leather carrying case, faded pink velvet interior. Metal clasps and leather carrying handle attached to the outside.
I): Partially constructed violin, copy of Antonius Stradivarius violin made in 1745. No tailpiece, chinrest, bridge, nut, or tuning pegs present. Ebony fingerboard slightly faded. Noticeable scratches around entire instrument. With hardwood case with red velvet interior. Room for a single violin, two bows, and smaller equipment. Bad condition.
J): Partially constructed violin. No tailpiece, chinrest, bridge, or tuning pegs present. Neck and fingerboard is no longer attached, front piece is no longer attached as well. Two piece back with low flame quality. With black leather case that is deteriorating, interior green velvet cloth with room for one violin, two bows, and smaller equipment.
K): Partially constructed violin, copy of an Antonius Stradivarius violin made in Germany. No tailpiece, bridge, chinrest, and left side tuning pegs present. Two piece back with low flame quality, sound post is broken. Scratches located all around the instrument. With soft shell felt case with zipper. Yellow cloth interior padding; room for one violin, two bows, and smaller equipment. Good condition.
L): Partially constructed Josef Lorenz Luby (Schonbach) violin from Czechoslovakia. No strings, tailpiece, chinrest, or bridge present. Large crack on the front of the instrument. Two piece back with low flame quality. 3/4 size violin. Hard shell leather case with green velvet interior. Room for two bows, one violin, and smaller equipment in small compartments.
M): Partially constructed Josef Guarnerius made in Germany. No tailpiece, chinrest, bridge, or tuning pegs present. Many scratches present all of the instrument. Two piece back with low flame quality. Brown hard shell case with metal clasps and carrying handle. Interior has green velvet. Room for a single violin, two bows, and smaller equipment in smaller compartments.
N): Partially constructed violin, copy of Antonius Stradivarius violin made in Germany in 1700. No tailpiece, chinrest, bridge, or tuning pegs present. Many scratches around the entire instrument. Full piece back, no flame. Brown hard shell case with metal clasps and carrying handle. Green velvet interior with room for one single violin, two bows, and smaller equipment in smaller compartments. Good condition.
O): Partially constructed E. R. Pfretzschner viola, copy of Antonius Stradivarius violin made in Germany. Body of the instrument was constructed in 1962. No fingerboard, nut, tuning pegs, tailpiece, chinrest, and bridge present. Several scratches around the entire instrument. Two piece back low flame quality. With leather hard shell case, leather exterior is deteriorating. Interior is green velvet lined with enough space for a single viola/violin, two bows, and smaller equipment. Metal clasps and lock attached with leather carrying handle. Poor condition.
P): Partially constructed Germany violin made in 1922. No tailpiece, tuning pegs, chinrest, or bridge present. Noticeable cracks on the front piece of instrument, full piece back with good flame quality. With leather hard shell case, leather exterior is deteriorating, interior is green velvet linen. Enough room for a single viola/violin, two bows, and smaller equipment. Metal clasps and lock attached with leather carrying handle. Poor condition.
Q): Partially constructed Eduard Reichert violin made in 1899. No tuning pegs, tailpiece, chinrest, or bridge present. Two piece back with low flame. Noticeable scratches around the instrument. With hard shell leather case, exterior leather is in good condition. Interior is purple cloth linen with enough room for a single viola/violin, two bows, and smaller equipment. Metal clasp and lock attached to the outside along with carrying handle.
R): Partially constructed violin, copy of the Antonius Stradivarius violin made in Germany in 1724. No tuning pegs, chinrest, tailpiece, or bridge present. Two piece back with good flame quality. Wood separation at the bottom of the instrument along with several scratch marks all around the front and sides of the instrument. With hard shell felt carrying case, interior is blue cloth with enough room for a single viola/violin, two bows, and smaller equipment. Zipper and Velcro are used to close the case, outside is an attached carrying handle.
S): Partially constructed violin from Columbus, Ohio; copy of the Antonius Stradivarius violin made in Germany. Constructed by the First National Institute of Allied Arts. No chinrest or bridge present. Tailpiece is detached. Ebony fingerboard, nut, and tuning pegs. Two piece back with no flame. No large scratches or cracks present. With hard shell carrying case, interior is red velvet lined. Enough room for a single violin/viola, two bows, and smaller equipment. Metal clasps (one broken) and locks attached to the outside along with carrying handle.
T): Nearly incomplete violin. Only parts present are the neck, fingerboard, and head and scroll. With hard shell leather carrying case. Interior is faded brown felt lined with enough space for a single violin, one bow, and smaller equipment. Metal clasps, lock, and handle attached to the outside.
U): Nearly incomplete violin. Only piece present is the body of the instrument; no neck, fingerboard, head, scroll, nut, tailpiece, bridge, or chinrest present. With hard shell wooden carrying case. With enough room for a single violin/viola, two bows, and smaller equipment. Interior is faded red velvet linen. Metal clasps, lock, and handle attached to the outside.
