A collection of three songs or poems by writer A.J. Moore, a Union patriot, disparaging the Confederacy and encouraging Union men to battle. One piece specifically mocks Confederate president Jefferson Davis as a fool and a traitor; all three emphasize the traitorous nature of the Confederates and claim that they will go to Hell for the sin of turning on the nation. The pieces are undated and are written by hand on lined paper. One paper is signed on the reverse by Moore. Some tearing/wear, but nothing that obscures the text. Toning consistent with age.
