S127 in Preble, Denver. Preble notes this is Colorado's earliest embossed mineral water. Preble notes in his historical synopsis of Peabody on page 45 that the company may have gotten its start around 1872 when he began bottling mineral water from the springs. The Peabody springs are not mentions in Bell's Climatology and Mineral Waters of the United States, 1885 nor Walton's Mineral Springs of the United States and Canada, 1873. This bottle has a repaired top at the lower neck. This is the only example Bracken was ever able to obtain.
