Twelve-sided glass perfume bottle recovered from the S.S. Central America shipwreck. It is 4.25 inches long, 1.5 inches in diameter at the base, and 3-1/8 inches from the base to the bottom of the shoulder. The top is 7/8-inch in diameter. Surface is iridescent, either as originally manufactured or as a result of being submerged for more than a century. No chips or crack evident, and the inside is coated with seafloor sediment or the dregs of whatever product the bottle originally contained.

Recovered in 1990 from the stern interior area of the shipwreck.

Provenance: SS Central America Collection
