Peterborough North Cotton Factory stock certificate, four shares issued in 1858 to David Steele. The North Cotton Factory was incorporated in 1813 in Peterborough, New Hampshire. The factory building was purchased by Charles Wilder in 1860, for his Wilder Thermometer Factory. The building was demolished in 1930s. Signed by the Treasurer, the certificate is in fine condition for its age, with slight folds and minor spotting and tears.
