Large grab bag lot that contains stamps, checks, certificates of deposit, play currency, and covers. Earliest piece is 1853 Ilion Bank pictorial draft. Checks from Sacramento (1860s), San Francisco, Rhyolite, and Virginia. Receipts from North Pittsburgh Coal Mine (Golden, Colorado, 1880) for coal weighed by Fairbanks' Platform Scales. Covers: three 1800s covers to the same person incl. 1877 cover and letter to San Francisco with stamp; two air mail covers (Honolulu and Pan American Airways).
