Colorful print of Philip R. Goodwin's grizzly bear family (1906), with a copyright by Charles Scribner. Goodwin (1881-1935), was a well known commercial artists, who's iconic drawing of a cowboy astride a running horse is still used by The Winchester Arms Company to this day. In 1903, he illustrated Jack London's "Call of the Wild" as well as Theodore Roosevelt's "African Game Trails." He also was an illustrator for Outdoor Life Magazine through the 1920s and 1930s. This print measures 10"x 15" and has some wear issues on the matte, that doesn't affect the print. Please see photos for more details. Norwich Connecticut
