Osceola in White Pine County came to life in 1872. But from 1880 to 1900 it was the placer mining that made the camp. That helps to identify this location although there is no definite proof. This does come from the Photographic collection of W. D. Miles – which is all White Pine County. Photograph has wrinkles and bends. (W.D. Miles Collection)
