Cert. #497, issued in 1908. Free floating shares. Signed by the treasurer, E.B. Thompson. The company was a gold mine and operated at Auraria, Georgia (Mining Investor, 1910). Auraria reached it's zenith in the 1830's, eventually faded into a ghost town by the 20th century (Auroria: The Story of a Georgia Mining Town, Coulter). Nice vignette of a waterfall at left.
