B. T. Pierson, Number 3, Bank Street. Historical sketch in front listing churches, banks, hotels, list of teachers at Newton High, list of government employees, etc. Index at back. Advertisements are wonderful – many with pictures. Book belonged to the Bangor Public Library. Some warping and staining with age. Some pages dog-eared. Binding and covers beginning to show wear. A few pages in back are becoming a little loose. Overall, in good condition for a book that is 177 years-old and was in use at a library. 212 pages with 30 pages of advertisements in back.
