Circa 1890-1910. The Pima people call themselves Akimel O'odham which means the river people. 4" height x 6" width. On a bundled foundation. Background is made with willow or yucca, and the black design is made with Devil's Claw. The design is a fret pattern. The basket is finished with a half stitch using Devil's Claw. This basket is in good condition. Attributed by ND.
