Esmeralda County. Incorporated in South Dakota. No. 1025 issued March 30, 1906 to Thomas Corvan for 100 shares. Signed by William Scott, President and Neville Bayley, Secretary. Printed by Republic Bank Note Company and is green ink on crème paper; masthead bookended by two ladies. Endorsed on reverse. Located in the Bullfrog district, the mines had 115 acres of unpatented land. [Mines Directory p. 411, Vol. 1, 1910]. Neville Bayley was born in 1863 in England. He emigrated to the United States about 1880 when he was just seventeen and made a fortune: owning two hotels in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and running an amusement park in Connecticut. He was also an officer of the Pittsburgh Bullfrog Mining Company.
