Five stocks for The Pittsburgh, McKeesport and Youghiogheny Railroad Company signed on the reverse by Cornelius Vanderbilt II as acting secretary. As the favorite grandson of railroad tycoon Cornelius Vanderbilt, Cornelius II inherited millions from his grandfather and father, allowing him to continue the Vanderbilt socialite and philanthropist tradition in New York, as well as taking control of the New York Central and other family owned rails in 1885.
