County bonds for 5% on $1000, dated Oct 1, 1894, #53: due by Oct 1, 1909, paid Oct 1, 1908; #60: due Oct 1, 1909, paid Sep 25, 1909; #61 due by Oct 1, 1910, paid on Oct 11, 1910. "Payable by Gold Coin of the United States" All the same style of form showing a center top round vignette titled Eureka, with a portrait of a Greek goddess, surrounded by a California themed scene, showing farmers at work and ships far off in the distance. Signed by Chairman Board of Supervisors, Geo B. Hewes and Auditor E. O. Smith. Ornate black border and print. The were paid at the office of the Treasurer of Placer County, in the City of Auburn, CA.
