Shadow box of approx. 35 pieces of artifacts containing arrowheads, drills, crescents, shell & more. There is a jasper crescent and a woman's doctoring crescent. There are several Clovis points, Humboldt points made of obsidian, chert & quartz. No one is sure what purpose these beautifully shaped artifacts served. Theories are many, including shaft scrapers, charmstones, surgical knives & bird stunners. Most crescents are found in areas known to have been marsh lands along the shores of ancient Lake Lahontan at the level it was about 7000 to 9000 years ago.
