Three stereoviews by C.H. Graves taken in 1901 depicting Black Americans in condescending terms. Group includes three black men at the table, "How'dye Deacon. Take a hand in a quiet little game?". Next view includes a white policeman hassling two black men with the caption, "The Way of the Transgressor is Hard". Last view is a photo of a proud black woman working in the kitchen, captioned "The Honeymoon's Wench Cook".
The three views were published by Universal Photo Art Company, C.H. Graves publisher, Philadelphia, PA. The photos are all in very good and clear condition.
