Rare, really good early postage stamp album, many rarities, 100s, perhaps from 100 countries, almost entirely pre-1900. Album contains what's left after some of the pages have been split out by countries separately. "The International Postage Stamp Album-Nineteenth Century," Bogert & Durbin Co., New York, copyright 1902. First owner's name penned inside fly leaf page, "Harry F. Mitchell, April 1st, 1908," with second owner's name typed above, "Thos. L. Mitchell, Philatelist. Pleasantville. Pa., U.S.A." Includes 8 maps of the world, published by The Scott Stamp & Coin Co., Limited, in the office of the Librarian at Washington, 1893. 11.5" x 9" each. Album is in poor condition, but it's what's inside that counts.
