A soldier at Camp Roberts named Everett Farris wrote to his family in San Bernardino, California, using post cards produced by the base that had scenes of the facilities and activities. Here are ten of those post cards, each with a different scene of camp life. Three are blank, but the other seven give short glimpses of a soldier's life and times. These images have special historic value now, since Camp Roberts has been demolishing many of the barracks and features pictured on them as part of on-going modernization and environmental remediation projects.
