Signed by Joseph Laflower as president and A. Luskin as secretary. Flagg was an important Gold Hill banker who went broke and was helped by editor Alf Doten. Incorporated March 10, 1863, and capitalized at $200,000; 1000 shares at $200 per. Vignette of a mining scene by Loomis at top center, one of his usual wood cuts. Large eagle at left. Pink underprint. 5.5 x 10". Very thin paper and delicate. Left edge is a bit ragged. Small hole at top center. 25-cent bond adhesive revenue attached.
