Very rare. Dateline Crested Butte, Col., Oct. 4th, 1881. No. 2548, issued for 10 shares to CE Chillis. Signed by president Howard and secretary Lewis. Not cancelled. Black border and print, no vignette. Folds. Not listed in C&L. According to the Gunnison Daily News (July 8, 1882), the Poverty Gulch Mining Company was doing "considerable work" in Poverty Gulch, Gunnison County. They owned 7 claims, including the Good Enough. In 1883, they were reported to have spent a large amount of capital developing the Burpee and other claims.
