This large cow powder horn is 12 in. in length and is built with two well fastened swivels for a strap. The base is turned hardwood with a finish that shows aging and loss. This horn may have been made in the late 19th c. or earlier in the 20th c. The neck is turned for a screw type plug now missing. This horn would make a fine accouterment to your muzzle loading rifle. This horn appears to be unused and without any powder residue. Date: City: State: HWAC# 56276
