Two small table top cast iron printing presses and a professional paper cutting guillotine. In the 1950s-60s, these types of presses were used in tourist locations such as Tombstone and Virginia City. This group came from the Grass Valley-Nevada City area of California's gold rush Mother Lode country. There are two presses here, a more modern Kelsey & Co. press perhaps of 1950s vintage, and a much older Craftsman Machinery press perhaps from about 1900 (hand painted gold trim, typical of older cast iron implements). The Kelsey is a 5 x 8" Model N with a 9" rotating ink disk and a 6 x 9" print plate. (sizes approximate?). There are approximately there boxes of parts and goodies, form rollers to other things. The Craftsman press is of the approximate same size. These presses come with three California type cases (with type), spacer case and other necessary materials. The guillotine paper cutter is made by Paragon with 1879 and 1881 patent dates and coms with an extra blade with sleeve. It has the handle but not the underlying cast iron support base, though it can be attached to a table top. The blade is 12". We did not set up these two presses and try to operate them, which is beyond our capabilities. They are FOB Reno, Nevada, and we strongly suggest they be picked up by the buyer, as the combined weight may exceed 200 pounds. We have taken this into account with the estimate.
