These volumes are produced by the director of the United States mint, and have critical production reports of each of the minutes, from the production of coins and ingots to gold and silver received from foreign countries, the storage and distribution thereof. The volumes here include 1883, 1886, 1887, 1888, 1889, 1890, 1892, 1893, 1894, 1895, 1896, 1897, 1899, 1900. There are only a couple of missing volumes in this annual stretch that covers 14 volumes overall. This is an excellent resource during what is often considered a depression in the metals business during the 1890s.
