This beautifully barbed point is 2.625 in. / 67 mm with barbs and a straight stem which helps identify this point. Either a Castroville Point or a Shumla Barbed Point in characteristics with heavy barbs and a straight stem at 14 mm. Made of a west Texas chert in a sandy grey found in Llano County, Texas. This point can be found in southeastern New Mexico and into the Rio Grande area into Mexico. #12. Please see photos for details.
