A Financial and Descriptive Prospectus. "The First and Only Climatic Resort of its Kind in America. Modeled After Carlsbad (Bohemia), Wiesbaden, Baden-Baden, Aix-Les-Bains, Vichy and Other European Health Resorts which Have Become So Popular with Americans." Includes 9.5" x 19.5" map of Colorado Carlsbad and a Plat Showing Property of the Company (on reverse). The Colorado Carlsbad Company is trying to raise money to build a resort consisting of: a large hotel, casino, bathhouse, and other smaller buildings, such as pavilions, a lake, a park, water chute, and more. Location is a 40 acre plot of land in Montclair, a suburb of Denver. Cost is $500,000. Lots for sale from $75 to $250. Advertises the health benefits of spring water, including chemical analysis. The pamphlet is full of drawings (taken from their architect), as well as tinted photographs. It does not appear that this resort was ever built. Approx. 35 pages on glossy paper. Minor wear to covers.
