Group of about 35 prints of political cartoons from Puck Magazine. Puck was one of the earliest humor and political satire magazines in the United States. The political cartoons in Puck were lithographs that were tinted with color. This differed from other magazines at the time that used black and white engravings for their illustrations. The cartoons in this group satirize many political issues of the late 19th and early 20th centuries including imperialism, business monopolies, labor troubles, war, the spoils system, etc. Very nice group overall. Most of these cartoons are from Puck, but a few are from Judge, another political satire magazine. Various sizes from about 9.75 x 13.25 to 21 x 13.75, good condition.
