Rarity-7. 1912. Very good strike. The town name is light. Purdy's was in California from 1887 to 1911. In 1911 the post office crossed the state line and was place in Nevada. Sarah Purdy was the postmistress when this was cancelled - a position she held for twenty years. Additional pages of research on location, names associated with cover, etc. are included.
