A collection of 14 postcards from Put-In-Bay, Ohio, Ottawa Co., c1907-10. About half are RPCs of the dedication ceremony of Perry's Victory and International Peace Memorial in 1910, which was constructed in Put-in-Bay, Ohio by a multi-state commission from 1912 to 1915. One RPC features John Eisenman, architect from Cleveland showing the crowd a watercolor painting of the proposal. Others feature a scene from Master Commandant Oliver Hazard Perry's victory on the bay during the War of 1812, the hotels Commodore and Victory, etc. Rising 352 feet over Lake Erie, Perry's Victory and International Peace Memorial was established to honor those who fought in the Battle of Lake Erie, during the War of 1812, and to celebrate the long-lasting peace among Great Britain, Canada and the U.S. [ Put-In-Bay Ohio 1907-10
